For years, I did everything “right”. I earned my degrees, my CPA, and established my career at Big 4 public accounting firms. Yet despite my qualifications and performance, I was constantly overlooked, overworked, and underpaid.

During a recent period of unemployment, I went on countless interviews, often making it through the phone screens with ease, only to be ghosted or told the company had “decided to go with an internal candidate.” When I advanced to in-person interviews, I could feel the energy shift the moment I walked into the room. As a Black woman, you know that look, the one that says, “You’re not who we expected”.

After one rejection too many, I realized I couldn’t keep chasing validation from systems designed to overlook me. I decided to audit my own life instead.

AuditHer Life was born from that moment. I wanted to create a safe space for professional Black women like me to rebuild, heal, and thrive beyond Corporate bias. Because we deserve more than that. We deserve success, joy, and the freedom to define both on our own terms.
